This institute provides hands-on experiences for teachers to explore problem solving strategies, tools to help them learn to confer effectively with individual students, and how to develop student capacity to write well in the mathematics class.
In this two-day institute, teachers will explore the following questions
Rich tasks, student writing, and video examples and transcripts will be used in the institute to help teachers improve their understanding of problem solving, mathematical writing, and the art of conferring.
