Opportunities for You
and Your STUDENTS

Students and families are invited to join Metamorphosis workshops and math clubs in order to build a more positive and joyful relationship with math. By creatively engaging in  mathematical tasks and improving the quality of work samples (e.g. more reasoning in writing, clarity of expression, and diagrams and mathematical models used strategically).

Through games, puzzles, and rich problems, students and families can develop more confidence in problem solving, while developing productive habits of mind.

Students Join Our Math Clubs

Students and families are invited to build a more positive and joyful relationship with math. By engaging in games, puzzles and rich problems and through collaboration, our math clubs provide an opportunity for children and their families to experience math as a joyful, playful and creative endeavor.  In doing so, math club participants develop habits of mind and dispositions toward math that have shown to enhance success in math.

Workshops for Parents

Are you curious about the math your children are learning in school?  Are you wondering why the math your children are learning feels so different from the math you learned in school?

We offer bite-sized math workshops for parents to help answer these questions and give parents and caregivers tools to engage in math conversations and problem-solving outside the classroom.  We believe this will help people of all ages to develop positive mathematical identities and experience math as a joyful, playful and creative endeavor.
