This week, we are discussing an Education Week op-ed that made a case for why school principals and other school administrators should join educators and teach. 

“The practice helps school leaders better understand the challenges teachers face in the classroom. That regular connection to the classroom, and to students, can make principals stronger, more empathetic leaders.” 

Should school leaders be required to teach at least one class moving forward or opt-out and focus on developing strategies to strengthen teaching and learning in schools?
